Here’s your first EasyWebinar affiliate update for April:

Item #1 – Promotional banners added (and more tools on the way)

One thing I’m VERY aware that is missing from our affiliate program at the moment, is ready-made tools to help you promote, including banners, emails, and other helpful tools that save you time and help you earn commissions.

With that in mind I’ve moved some banners over from our old affiliate system to FirstPromoter that we now use for managing our program.

They’ll be more ready-made promotional tools to come, and I’ll let you know in a future email as those are ready for you.

That said, a custom promotional approach:

Can really help you stand out, and earn more commissions.

And I would say one of the best ways to promote anything is to actually use it, like it, and share that genuine recommendation with others (using your link of course). That’s the approach I often take when I promote offers as an affiliate.

So for now, log in and click on Assets to get the banners – you can then link them to either the:

Item #2 – How our trials convert into customers

To give you a quick overview of how our trials convert…

For visitor to trial conversion, since everyone’s traffic is different, numbers I share here aren’t particularly helpful to you. But I’ve seen:

And once someone takes a trial, we’re seeing:

Item #3 – Just how long we’ve been paying some affiliates

One big benefit of promoting EasyWebinar is genuine passive income.

Some recurring affiliate programs have a commission cut off – they pay you for two years for example, and then no more. Some even just one year.

Or – some programs just close down with very little warning (this happened to me after I spent a lot of effort promoting an offer). So it’s important to keep in mind:

We’ve been in business over ten years. And we’ve been running our affiliate program around 9 years now, and paying out every month. Once you refer a customer, you get paid 30% for as long as they’re a customer. No cut off period.

And out of interest, I looked through our stats, and:

Some of those have been paid many tens of thousands of dollars in commissions.

That’s true residual income. Of course, the work is at the beginning to generate traffic, leads, and sales. But at a certain point, once you have an approach that works and have referred enough leads and customers, it just keeps on going for you, making you ongoing income with little to no extra effort.

That’s the real benefit of long-term recurring affiliate programs. After you’re over the initial “hump” of figuring out a promotional approach that generates customers for you, it just keeps on going, and going, and going.

So if you’re looking for those types of long-term commissions, keep our affiliate program in mind.

Item #4 – Potential lifetime value of customers you refer (you get 30% of all that of course)

Just like we’ve been paying some affiliates for many years, we’ve also had some customers for ten or more years.

With any recurring billing, the biggest drop off percentages are near the start, and particularly in the first year.

Interestingly, once a customer has been with us for a year, hardly any leave. Or they leave very, very slowly. At that point, they’re actively using the platform, it’s working for them, and they just stay month after month, year after year.

Average lifetime value of a customer at EasyWebinar is currently close to $2,000. But, for some of our higher priced plans, the lifetime value is MUCH higher than that. In fact, for Enterprise it’s in the tens of thousands.

So referring customers to our Standard Plan is great, but the real commissions are in the Pro and Enterprise plans.
